Beau Fowler

Biography

Beau Fowler is an award-winning actor, writer and director. He is best known for directing and starring in the 46 time award-winning action comedy short film 'Express Delivery', and action directing the sci-fi thriller 'Narcopolis' starring Elliot Cowan & BAFTA winner Jonathan Pryce. Born in 1981 to renowned photographer & music promo director Simon Fowler, and reflexologist Karen, he grew up in South West London. At the age of 6 he began studying Karate before gaining interest in Chinese martial arts. He has trained in Wu Dang systems, Brazilian Capoeira, and currently studies Southern Shaolin Wuzuquan and Wujiquan under renowned grandmaster Han Kim Sen. In 2003 he was selected to play a shadow Warrior in Christopher Nolan's ground breaking Batman Begins, and soon after, he co-founded the Rx3 Fight Crew: a UK based team that specializes in the design and performance of action in film. Whilst the team disbanded in 2014, Beau continues to design and direct action, having won several awards for his choreography and unique style of filming. Together with his father, Beau established the independent production company Ki Films who's projects have so far collected 60 Awards Wins. They have Worked with international artists such as Agnetha Fältskog (ABBA), Chinese superstar Karen Mok and Mick Hucknall, and have a slate of features in development.
