Biography

Ana Villafañe is a Los Angeles-based actress raised in Miami, FL. In 2016, Ana will appear as the female lead in Max Steel (2016), the highly-anticipated, live-action feature film franchise based on Mattel's popular "teen superhero" action figure. Ana makes her Broadway debut starring as Gloria Estefan in "On Your Feet", a bio-new musical currently on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre. Ana's career in film/TV began when she was spotted onstage at the age of 16, which led to modeling and commercial acting upon graduation from high school. Her first foray into film was in the award-winning feature film, Magic City Memoirs (2011), executive produced by Andy Garcia. Upon her move to Los Angeles, she quickly landed a role, alongside Esai Morales and Lupe Ontiveros, in Los Americans (2011), an original series written and directed by Dennis E. Leoni and produced by Robert Townsend. Ana is also known for her starring turn in Anchor Bay's 2012 release, Hiding (2012), playing a protected witness who is caught in a love triangle with Jeremy Sumpter (Friday Night Lights (2006), Peter Pan (2003)) and Tyler Blackburn (Ravenswood (2013), Pretty Little Liars (2010)).
